Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), headquartered at Karachi Airport in Sindh, invites sealed bids from well-respected and eligible bidders for the supply of different tyres under tender reference 26011676 dated 23 June 2026. The procurement is issued by the Purchases Technical Commercial Section of the Supply Chain Management Department and will be conducted on a Single Stage Two Envelope Basis. The tender cost is PKR 25,000, which is non-refundable. Bids are invited from suppliers capable of meeting PIA's requirements for various tyre specifications required for airline operations at Karachi Airport.
Bidders must meet specific eligibility criteria as outlined in the bidding documents. All Pakistani-based bidders must hold valid NTN and GST numbers with proof of annual FBR tax registration and returns filing. An earnest money deposit of PKR 100,000 in the form of a pay order is required and must be enclosed with the technical proposal; this amount is refundable. Authorized agents or distributors must provide original authorization letters from their principals. Technical proposals must include relevant literature, brochures, samples where applicable, copies of all mandatory certificates, affidavits, and a signed copy of the duly filled Schedule-A. Financial proposals should contain price quotes, brand names, and all prescribed tender forms with company seals and authorized signatures on each page.
Bidding documents are available on the PIACL website at https://www.piac.com.pk/corporate/sales-procurement/tenders, the PPRA website at https://www.ppra.org.pk/active-tenders, and through the EPADS-PPRA portal at https://www.eprocure.gov.pk via Supplier Login. Bids must be submitted electronically through PPRA EPADS and also manually before 15 July 2026 at 10:30 AM to the Tender Box marked Commercial Purchases at the SCM Department Building, PIA Head Office, Karachi Airport-75200, Pakistan. Tender opening will occur the same day at 11:00 AM. Hard copies of bids along with original bid security instruments must reach before the deadline.
