Description / Scope of Work
The Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority invites bids for the procurement of works under small contracts amounting between Rs.20 million, in accordance with the Standard Form of Bidding Document for Procurement of Works. This tender document is designed for use by different agencies and procuring entities across Sindh province who require construction or works services within the specified contract value range. The bidding process follows National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and may be tailored to accommodate contracts on an International Competitive Bidding (ICB) basis when funded by international financial institutions or donors with foreign currency payments. Procuring agencies are authorized to modify the standard clauses to suit their specific requirements and scope of work. The complete bidding documents comprise Instructions to Bidders and Bidding Data, Form of Bid and Schedules to Bid, Conditions of Contract and Contract Data, Standard Forms, Specifications, and relevant Drawings if applicable. Procuring agencies must prepare an Invitation for Bids and finalize all blank spaces and forms according to the project scope, ensuring bidders receive comprehensive and clear instructions for submission and evaluation. The tender process is governed by rules and procedures established to ensure transparent, competitive, and fair procurement practices across all government agencies in Sindh.
