Description / Scope of Work
The Chief Military Engineer Services (Navy) Islamabad/Lahore invites applications from eligible firms and contractors for prequalification to receive tenders for multiple construction and repair works at E-8 Islamabad and Lahore. The scope of work includes provision of glass cabins in bathrooms, uplift of retaining walls and stone pitching along Nullah, replacement of SMD controllers with electrical and power cables, abnormal repair of works, repair and replacement of existing works, and miscellaneous facilities at both locations. Applications must be submitted in accordance with Clauses 13, 15 and 16 of PPRA Rules 2004.
Eligible applicants must be firms or contractors enlisted with Military Engineer Services in category D or higher, or registered with other Government Departments with relevant experience in similar works. All applicants must provide detailed information on similar projects executed during the last two years, including sponsoring agency details, work amounts in millions of rupees, completion periods, physical completion dates, work progress percentages, and performance reports from previous clients. Contractors must also furnish lists of moveable and immoveable assets, personnel details, machinery and equipment inventories, bank statements, GST registration certificates, and NTN certificates. Crucially, firms must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration with renewal for the year 2026 to be considered for tender document issuance.
Prequalification documents can be obtained from CMES (N) Islamabad/Lahore at Sector E-8 Islamabad. Qualified firms will receive tender documents, which must be submitted by 1130 hours on 13 July 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. Contractors may witness the tender opening. The Accepting Officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications under paragraph 33 of PPRA Rules 2004, and incomplete applications will not be entertained.
