Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation invites electronic bids for the supply, procurement, transportation and installation of 120 precast safety barriers at Jansukh Mines, PMDC Salt Mines in Warcha, Islamabad. Each safety barrier shall be constructed using precast concrete with standardized dimensions of length 6 feet, height 4 feet, base width 2 feet, and top width 8-10 inches, as per detailed specifications provided in Annexure-A. This is a single-stage, single-envelope tender process with tender inquiry number PMDC/Proc/safety Barriers/WA, issued from PMDC Head Office located in Islamabad, Federal Province.
Interested bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax Department, Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) where applicable, and shall be on the active taxpayer list of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bidders are required to submit a bid security of PKR 100,000 in the form of a pay order or demand draft made in the name of Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation from any scheduled bank. Successful tenderers will be required to deposit additional security money at 10% of the total contract value, which will be refunded after successful completion of the one-year warranty period. Bidders must demonstrate three years of relevant experience in similar supply and installation work with supporting documentation.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions, procurement methodology, and specifications are available electronically and can be downloaded free of cost from the EPADS/PPRA website at http://eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on EPADS on or before July 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM at PMDC Head Office, Islamabad, where tenderers or their authorized representatives may attend. Original bid security must be submitted to the undersigned before the online submission deadline. For technical difficulties with EPADS, prospective bidders may contact PPRA Office on 051-111-137-237. Tenders will be evaluated on a least-cost basis among technically responsive bidders, with the contract awarded to the lowest evaluated price offer. The tender remains valid for 90 days from the opening date.
