Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Multan invites sealed bids from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the provision and fixing of safety nets for existing manholes in the Sewerage Division South of WASA Multan. This is a single stage single envelope tender with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,041,072 and an earnest money requirement of Rs. 80,821 at two percent. The work is located in Multan, Punjab and must be completed within fifteen days from the date of award. Bidders must submit their e-bids through the e-PADS portal in accordance with PPRA E-Tendering System rules and regulations as amended.
To be eligible, participating firms and contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category or code and must maintain their registration on the Punjab e-PADS website. Only registered persons and entities with authorized credentials on PPRA and e-PADS are eligible to participate. Bidders shall fill up rates for each item mentioned in the bid documents, failing which the bid shall be rejected and the bidder deemed non-responsive. A Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in the form of bid security must be submitted and is required up to thirty minutes prior to the scheduled opening time. The bid security and any performance guarantee must be submitted in hard copy in addition to soft copies uploaded on the e-PADS portal.
Bid documents are available from the Director Works WASA at 316-A Shamasabad Colony Multan. The tender closing and opening date is July 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Original CDR envelopes must be submitted clearly bearing the tender title to the Head Clerk Office of the Deputy Director Sewerage Division South WASA Multan, located at Hasparwana Colony Multan, before the deadline. Hard copies may be collected from the office on the same date between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Non-submission of the original CDR within the prescribed timeframe renders the bidder non-responsive and liable to disqualification. The lowest evaluated bidder shall be awarded the contract, and bids remain valid for 120 days.
