Description / Scope of Work
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Multan invites bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for providing and fixing safety nets for existing manholes in the Sewerage Division Central, located in Multan, Punjab. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 41,261,471 with earnest money deposit of Rs 82,523 at two percent of the estimated cost. The work is to be completed within 15 days, and this tender is issued under the single stage single envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA E-Tendering System and relevant procurement rules amended to date.
Only firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and registered on Punjab e-PADS website are eligible to participate. Bidders must submit bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favour of the Director Finance WASA Multan. The tender documents containing detailed requirements, terms, and conditions are available through the PPRA website and e-PADS system at www.punjab.eproc.gov.pk. All rates must be quoted for each item mentioned in the tender, and conditional tenders will not be accepted. Hard copies of financial instruments including bid security and performance guarantee (if required) must be submitted along with soft copies uploaded on e-PADS.
The bid submission closing date is July 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM at the office of the Director Works WASA Multan situated at 316-A Shamasabad Colony, Multan. Bidders must submit their e-bids through the e-PADS portal, and the Original CDR must be submitted to the Head Clerk at the office of the Deputy Director Sewerage Division Central WASA. The lowest evaluated bidder will be awarded the contract, subject to furnishing of performance guarantee as per the Revised Contract Form. For grievances, bidders may lodge complaints through e-PADS within ten days after announcement of bid evaluation report.
