Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Chunian invites e-procurement bids for desilting of Rohi Nallah (Dingi) and Same Nallah in Chunian, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 49,90,000 with a completion period of one month. This infrastructure maintenance work is located in Chunian and aims to improve drainage systems in the municipality. The procurement process is conducted through the EPADS (Electronic Procurement Augmentation & Development System) platform in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2024. Single stage single envelope open competitive bidding methodology will be employed with evaluation based on the least cost method.
Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Prospective contractors are required to submit earnest money of Rs. 2,49,500 (5% of estimated cost) in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) from any scheduled bank. Original CDR documents must be produced to the Municipal Officer (Infrastructure) on the contractor's letterhead on or before the bid closing time. Financial instruments must be submitted in both hard copy and soft copy formats on the EPADS platform as per regulations. All relevant Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and B&R Code provisions will apply throughout the contract execution.
Bid documents prepared in accordance with bidding instructions must be uploaded on the EPADS platform on or before 11 July 2026 by 11:30 AM. Proposals downloaded from EPADS will be opened on the same day at 01:30 PM in the Municipal Committee office. All bidding documents must be duly signed and stamped by authorized representatives. Price schedules must be submitted on the contractor's letterhead. For clarifications or additional information, prospective bidders should contact the Municipal Committee Chunian directly. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to acceptance.
