Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Municipal Administration Dargai, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders electronically through EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) for the construction of Bab-E-Malakand near Zarabad Check Post, Sakhakot, Tehsil Dargai in District Malakand. This project is part of Accelerated Sustainable Development Initiatives for District Malakand with an estimated cost of Rs. 15.00 million and tender money of Rs. 300,000. The tender is based on MRS-2025 (1st Bi-Annual) and Non-MRS items under the Single Stage-Single Envelope Procedure in accordance with KPPRA Rules 2014.
Eligible firms and contractors must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license in the relevant category and be duly enlisted with the Local Council Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in their field of specialization. Bidders must prepare earnest money and additional securities in accordance with KPPRA Notification No. S.RO(14)/Vol.1-24/2021-22. Contractors quoting bids more than 20% below engineer's estimate must submit additional security equal to the differential amount with detailed rate analysis. Failure to submit original bid security and additional security instruments before the deadline will result in debarment of the bidder for one year, and violation for a second time will result in blacklisting for a minimum period of three years as per Section 29 of the KPPRA Act and Rule 44 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Rules 2014.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the official EPAD website (eprocure.gov.pk) after NIT publication. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by 14 July 2026 at 11:30 AM, with opening scheduled for 14 July 2026 at 02:00 PM. The time limit for completion is as per the work order. Tender evaluation will be based on engineer's estimate for MRS-2025 (1st Bi-Annual).
