Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Railways Multan Division invites electronic bids for three major railway infrastructure projects under the Composite Schedule of Rates 2016. The first project involves widening and conversion of 1x32 class-I (Manned) level crossing no 197 at Khanewal between Khidgur-Jahanian and Lodhran-Khanewal sections, with an approximate cost of Rs 20,684.1 thousand and completion period of 13 months. The second project comprises construction of 03 new leased out shops at Dera Chaun Khan Station Yard on Kashmoro Colony Kekadda Section with approximate cost Rs 1,810,066 thousand and 12-month timeline. The third project covers construction of 10 new leased out shops at four locations including A-07 S-16, B-17, MCH Yard and F-5, 6, 89, 90, 94, 95 and 97 near KM 9-114 at Machhawala Station on LDN-FTL section with approximate cost Rs 5,688,633 thousand and 04-month period. All projects are located in Punjab province under Multan Division jurisdiction.
Bidders must possess valid licenses from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and must be included in the active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR. Bid security is required to be submitted in the name of Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan as mentioned in bid documents. Contractor firms should be included in the active taxpayers list at FBR. All bids must follow single stage two envelope system with separate technical and financial proposals. Bids must be submitted through E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) in sealed envelopes clearly marked as technical and financial bids respectively.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website at http://ite.procure.gov.pk and interested bidders must submit their bids through E-PADS system on or before 12:00 noon on 13 July 2026. Tender opening will be conducted at the office of Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan on the same date at 2:00 PM. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated separately and results will be communicated to qualified firms accordingly.
