Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi invites quotations for passive cabling work required for the Data Center expansion project. The scope of work includes supply and installation of Cat 6 UTP PVC cables (1,500 feet), PVC pipes 1 inch complete with fittings and accessories (250 feet), and Channel Duct 16x25 with fitting accessories (240 feet). Additionally, labour charges are required for cable laying of 1,500 feet UTP CAT-6 cables with concealed piping, including rack mounting, harnessing, and end-to-end ribbon tagging, as well as labour charges for laying 1,730 feet of channel, PVC pipe and all accessories for fiber cable installation. The project is located at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. Delivery is required at the Stores, IBA Main Campus.
Only genuine and original items will be accepted; any substandard work or materials will be rejected. Quotations must include per-feet rates for materials and total lump-sum or total rates for labour charges. A Manufacturer's Authorization Form (MAF) letter is mandatory along with the quotation. General Sales Tax (GST) and Service Sales Tax (SST) will be applied separately as applicable. IBA reserves the right to split orders among multiple bidders or consolidate with a single bidder based on responsiveness and pricing. Material will be subject to final inspection by IBA ICT department, IBA stores, or end users at the time of delivery.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Payment will be made within 30 working days via crossed cheque after invoice receipt and delivery. Liquidity damages at 2 percent per month will be imposed for delayed delivery. Stamp duty at 0.35 percent for goods against total purchase order value will be levied accordingly.
