Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed competitive bids for two related infrastructure projects in the LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme, Lahore, Punjab. The first project involves amelioration of roads with an estimated cost of Rs. 34,902,342 (total with 5% PST: Rs. 36,647,459). The second project covers completion of essential sewerage and road network infrastructure with an estimated cost of Rs. 32,560,729 (total with 5% PST: Rs. 34,188,765). Both projects are located in Lahore and include comprehensive road rehabilitation work comprising dismantling and removal of existing road mettaling, preparation of earthwork, compaction, base course construction, bituminous priming and wearing courses, and traffic lane painting. The road amelioration project additionally includes kerb stone installation and gully grating construction. Each project has a time limit of two months for completion.
Bidders must provide earnest money deposits as specified: Rs. 1,832,373 for the amelioration project and Rs. 1,709,438 for the sewerage and road network project. Contractors must possess necessary experience and qualifications in road construction and should comply with all technical specifications outlined in the bid schedule, including standards for compaction density, bituminous materials, and quality of aggregates. All work must be executed according to approved designs and subject to inspection by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Bid documents are available from the Lahore Development Authority. Interested bidders should submit sealed bids before the closing date as specified. Bids will be opened on the scheduled date in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. For further information, queries, and submission of bids, contractors should contact the office of the Chief Engineer-I, LDA, who has signed the bid schedules. The projects are subject to applicable procurement regulations and technical requirements for road and sewerage infrastructure in Punjab.
