Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites sealed bids for four categories of procurement under PPRA rules 2014 (amended). The tender FY 2026-27 encompasses the purchase of medical and laboratory equipment for RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree, purchase of plant and machinery for RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree, repair of medical and laboratory equipment for RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree, and repair of plant and machinery for RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree. All four categories are scheduled for tender opening on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at 10:30 AM. The bidding documents containing full terms, conditions and quantities are available free of cost from the websites of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority and RIC Rawalpindi.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with relevant Tax Departments of the Government of Pakistan. Bids will follow a single stage, two envelope procedure and must be submitted electronically via EPAD (IT-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) in accordance with the published schedule. Bidders are required to submit fresh CDR or bank guarantee at 2 percent of estimated price as bid security (refundable) in the name of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawal Road Rawalpindi. The original bid security must be physically submitted to the office before the closing time and date of tender.
Bidding documents can be obtained from websites www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, www.ric.gop.pk, and https://punjab.procuresupply.pk. All bidders must submit bids electronically via EPAD according to the specified schedule. If the date of opening is declared a public holiday or non-working day for any reason by the government, the next official working day shall be deemed as the date of submission and opening of tenders accordingly.
