Description / Scope of Work
Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of general store items comprising individual first aid kits and trauma packs for the financial year 2026-27. The tender, referenced as 01/Normal/2026-27, covers 32 line items including trauma bags, tourniquets, bandages, airway management equipment, diagnostic instruments, splints, and medical medications. The procurement is planned within the current financial year either in full or in part, with quantities subject to amendment or decrease at the time of order placement. This is a critical procurement for emergency medical readiness by the Pakistan Army's ordnance facility based in Rawalpindi, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be Original Equipment Manufacturers, authorized agents, authorized distributors, or registered suppliers who hold valid registrations with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, maintain Active Taxpayer List status with the Federal Board of Revenue, and are registered with the Directorate General Defense Purchase, Directorate General Procurement-Army, any Ordnance Depot of Pakistan Army, or the Pakistan Engineering Council. A bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated bid value must be deposited within five working days of intimation from COD Rawalpindi, with failure to do so resulting in bid rejection.
Complete tender documents are available from the Local Purchase Office at COD Rawalpindi, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment, during working hours between 0830 and 1530 hours (telephone: 051-8770950, 0319-9436032). Sealed bids comprising three separate envelopes—Vendor Profile/Qualification Documents, Technical Proposal, and Financial Proposal—must be submitted before 1030 hours on 14 July 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 1100 hours the same day in the Conference Room at COD Rawalpindi. Three samples of each item must be deposited at the tender opening venue.
