Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids for routine maintenance works during the financial year 2026-27 across the Northern Area's Region. The tender comprises twenty-seven separate contracts covering maintenance on National Highway N-35, N-125, N-15, and E-35 (CPEC-HT section) in Abbottabad and surrounding areas. The total scope spans multiple sections with engineer's estimates ranging from 8,940,476 Pakistani Rupees to 12,940,476 Rupees per contract, with completion period of twelve months for each contract. The total estimated value across all contracts exceeds 250 million Rupees, representing significant infrastructure maintenance investment in the federal region.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department as active taxpayers on the Federal Board of Revenue's list and hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-5 or above with specialization in Civil Engineering CE-01 and CE-10 codes. Bid security requirements vary by contract value, ranging from 178,810 Rupees to 258,810 Rupees. Bidders are required to obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration immediately at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard copy submissions will no longer be accepted in upcoming procurements.
Bid documents will be available free of cost for download from the NHA e-Bidding system website from July 6, 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before July 15, 2026 by 11:30 AM, with technical bids opening at 12:00 PM the same day. Financial bids of qualified bidders will be opened subsequently, and any firm declared lowest evaluated bidder in two RM contracts will not have further bids opened.
