Description / Scope of Work
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), a leading gas utility in Pakistan, invites sealed bids for the supply of cold applied polymeric corrosion protection tape and primer under Tender Enquiry No. SND-2619/26. This procurement is open to both foreign suppliers and local manufacturers. The tender is advertised on a single stage two envelope system basis, requiring separate technical and financial proposals. Bids must be submitted to the General Manager (Procurement) at the Gas House, 21-Kashmir Road, Lahore, Pakistan, with a closing date of 03 August 2026 at 1430 hours. The company reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities by up to 15 percent and to cancel the tender without assigning reasons.
Eligible bidders must include a bid bond in accordance with clause 17 of the Instructions to Bidders, technical literature, completed questionnaire, clause-by-clause commentary on technical specifications, delivery period confirmation, and evidence of sales tax and income tax registration for DPU (Delivered at Purchaser's site) basis offers. Local manufacturers must meet qualification criteria as specified in Annexure-IX. All bids must conform fully to the technical specifications and general terms outlined in the tender documents, with offers remaining valid for 90 days from the closing date. Delivery must be made to the company's Base Stores at Manga (D) in Pak Rupees on a free delivery basis.
Complete tender documents including general terms (Appendix-A), instructions to bidders (Appendix-B), price schedules for foreign and local suppliers (Appendices C(i) and C(ii)), questionnaire (Appendix-D), schedule of requirements (Appendix-E), technical specifications (Appendix-F), and specimen bonds and authority letters are available in the bidding package. Bids will be publicly opened on 03 August 2026 at 1500 hours at the same venue. Only technically responsive proposals will have their financial envelopes opened.
