Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of Hyderabad–Sukkur Motorway (M-6), Section 3, spanning from Nawabshah to Naushahro Feroz, covering kilometre 250+500 to kilometre 315+300, with a total length of approximately 64.61 kilometres. This major infrastructure project is financed by the OPEC Fund for International Development under Loan/Grant No. PAK1064. The contract is being procured through International Open Competitive Bidding (IOCB) as per the Fund's Principles for Procurement of Goods, Works and Services, and is open to all eligible bidders on a competitive basis.
Bidding is open to all eligible international and local contractors. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of PKR 1.27 billion or US$ 4.51 million. Interested bidders should be aware of the Procurement Regulations requiring disclosure of beneficial ownership information as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form included in the bidding documents. Bidders must have the technical capability and financial resources to execute a large-scale motorway construction project of this magnitude.
Complete bidding documents in English may be purchased upon submission of a written application to the General Manager, Procurement and Contract Administration (P&CA), NHA Head Quarters, P.O. Box No. 1205, 28-Mauve area, G-9/1 Islamabad, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 10,000/- via Pay Order or Demand Draft. Documents are available for collection Monday to Friday during office hours from 0900 to 1400 hours and will be uploaded on www.nha.gov.pk. Sealed bids must be delivered at NHA Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Room No. 223, NHA HQ, Islamabad on or before 1100 hours on 11th August 2026. Electronic bidding is not permitted, and late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of bidders' designated representatives.
