Description / Scope of Work
Social Security Hospital Jhang, located in Punjab, invites annual tenders for the financial year 2026-27 through e-procurement for four categories of supplies and equipment. The procurement includes printing and stationery (estimated value PKR 1,000,000), X-ray film (PKR 800,000), chemicals for laboratory (PKR 1,200,000), and small medical appliances (PKR 900,000). These annual tenders are being floated under open competitive bidding procedures as per PPRA Rules 2014 and will be conducted via the PESSI portal on the Punjab PPRA and EPADS websites. The total estimated value of all procurement items is PKR 3,900,000.
Bidders must be eligible under PPRA regulations and qualified to supply the respective items. Bid security in the form of a Cash Deposit Receipt (CDR) equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated price of quoted items is mandatory for each tender. Additionally, successful bidders must provide performance security of 5 percent of the quoted contract amount. All bids must be submitted in English or Urdu, with the bid currency being Pakistani Rupee. The bidding procedure follows a single stage, two envelope system as per PPRA Rules 2014.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website from the date of advertisement publication. The deadline for uploading bids is 20 July 2026 at 10:00 AM, after which bids will be opened at 10:30 AM the same day at the office of the Medical Superintendent, Social Security Hospital Jhang.
