Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), under the Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed electronic bids from registered contractors for special maintenance work involving repair and maintenance of a flyover structure located at Kilometre 128 (Thatha Bhattian Crossing) on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2) in Punjab. The engineer's estimate for this project is valued at Rs. 3,698,700, with bid security set at 2 percent of the engineer's estimate as mandated under the National Highway Authority Road Maintenance Fund Security Deposit guidelines. The contract reference number is SM-2025-M2-01, and the work falls under the FEC category C-S & Above (CE-01 & CE-16).
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and the Federal Board of Revenue, and must be listed on the Active Taxpayers List. Contractors must also be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council to be eligible for participation. The bid security amount should equal 2 percent of the engineer's estimate as per PPRA Rules. Bidders providing unsubstantiated or incorrect information will face disqualification and/or legal action, and default bids will not be considered as eligible. The NHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted in accordance with PPRA regulations.
Bidding documents containing the method of procurement and detailed terms and conditions are available for free download from the NHA website. e-Bids must reach the specified address on or before 16 July 2026 at 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1100 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. All firms must obtain PPRA registration at www.epsure.gov.pk immediately, as manual bids are not accepted and will be eliminated in upcoming procurements.
