Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority, Punjab West Region based in Mianwali, invites electronic bids for thirteen routine maintenance works on highways N-130 and N-135. The procurement covers seven routine maintenance contracts on N-130 highway (serial numbers 01 to 07) and six routine maintenance contracts on N-135 highway (serial numbers 08 to 13), with estimated contract costs ranging from Rs 9.741 million to Rs 24.962 million. The works span various segments with lengths between 20 and 129 kilometres, covering maintenance activities essential for road safety and infrastructure preservation across Punjab West region. The total project scope encompasses critical highway segments requiring professional maintenance services to ensure optimal road conditions.
Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and listed as Active Taxpayers by the Federal Board of Revenue, with valid registration from the Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories (C-5, CE-01, or CE-10). Bid security requirements and detailed eligibility criteria are specified in the bidding documents available on the NHA website. Prospective bidders are advised to review all technical specifications, terms and conditions, and schedule requirements before preparing their submissions.
Bidding documents are available for download from the NHA website at www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk and www.ppra.org.pk, using the two-envelope single-stage procurement method. All e-bids must be submitted by 1100 hours on 22 July 2026 (Wednesday), with technical opening scheduled for the same day. Bid documents sent by courier will not be accepted. Bidders must obtain PPRA registration immediately, and hard copies of bids will be eliminated in future procurements.
