Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the procurement of furniture items under RFQ-003851. The tender encompasses the supply of floor-mounted cabinets measuring 4 feet by 8 feet with 16mm thickness (32 square feet total) and three credenza units with MDF laminated sheet construction measuring 60x18x30 inches and 16mm thickness. Both items should be of ZRK brand or equivalent quality. The delivery location is the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh Province. This procurement is for departmental use and involves standard furniture supply specifications.
Bidders must ensure that material submissions are subject to final inspection at the time of delivery in accordance with IBA's specifications. Samples of MDF sheets are mandatory for quality approval before order finalization. Quotations must be submitted by 2 July 2026 at 12:00 PM to the Purchase Department. Payment will be made through crossed cheque following receipt of invoices and delivery of items. General Sales Tax applies to applicable items only, and stamp duty of 0.35% will be levied on the total Purchase Order value. Liquidity damage at 2% per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries.

IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, cancel items, alter quantities, or split Purchase Orders among multiple bidders based on lowest responsive bids. Advance payments require bank guarantees, and all government taxes, levies, and charges will be applied as per applicable SRO rates and Purchase Order denominations.
