Description / Scope of Work
Port Qasim Authority invites sealed bids from financially sound and experienced contractors and firms for the tender to provide fumigation and malaria, dengue, de-rating, rodent, and termite control spray services across PQA areas, offices, crafts facilities, and the PQA Housing Complex in Karachi for the period 2026-28. The tender is issued by the Environment and Safety Department of Port Qasim Authority and covers prescribed areas within the port authority's jurisdiction in Bin Qasim, Karachi. Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sindh Revenue Board with relevant field experience and suitably qualified personnel.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound contractors or firms with proven experience in fumigation and pest control services. Bid security (earnest money) of Rs. 400,000 is required in the form of a pay order issued by a Pakistani schedule bank with minimum AA rating and located in Karachi. Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, procurement method, bid validity, evaluation criteria, and performance guarantees are available from the Manager (Environment and Safety) office during office hours (0900 to 1530 hrs, Monday to Friday) upon submission of a non-refundable pay order worth Rs. 1,000. Documents can also be downloaded from PQA and PPRA websites.
Bids must follow the Single Stage-Two Envelopes Procedure under Rule-36(b) of Public Procurement Rules-2004 and comprise three separate envelopes containing bid security, technical proposal with prequalification documents, and financial proposal respectively. Sealed bids must be submitted at the Conference Room, Admin Building, Port Qasim Authority on or before 21st July 2026 at 1200 hours. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 1230 hours, followed by financial proposal opening for technically qualified bidders at a date and venue to be intimated later. Port Qasim Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
