Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA), represented by the Resident Engineer at Gomal Zam Power Station, invites electronic bids on FCS basis from bonafide manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, and contractors registered with income tax and sales tax departments and listed on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue. The procurement concerns the purchase of SF6 cylinders alongside other testing equipment required for the Gomal Zam Powerhouse, located in Sindh province. The contract duration is 60 days, with an estimated bid security of Rs. 250,000. The bid is open to eligible firms meeting specified criteria, and detailed e-bidding documents are available for download on the EPADS portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk.
Eligible bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities, hold valid registration with relevant regulatory bodies, and be listed on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of FBR. Each bidder is required to submit bid security in the original form as a CDR (Certified Deposit Receipt) in favor of Resident Engineer, Gomal Zam Hydel Power Station, WAPDA, D.I Khan. Bids submitted manually will not be accepted; all submissions must be made electronically through EPADS on or before the closing date and time.

Electronic bids will be opened on the same day in the office of the Chief Engineer (Hydel) Chashma in the presence of bidders' designated representatives. A Single Stage Sealed Envelope procedure will be followed. One hard copy of bids in sealed form must also be submitted at the office of Resident Engineer, Gomal Zam HPS.
