Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports (DGIP) under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed and electronic bids from eligible, reputable, and authorized firms for the lot-wise procurement of IT hardware, software, database solutions, network infrastructure, and related equipment and services for the DGIP headquarters in Islamabad and its associated offices and sites for the financial year 2026-27. The detailed scope of work and technical specifications are provided in the bidding documents, and prospective bidders are encouraged to review all requirements carefully before submission.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the relevant Provincial Revenue Authority for income tax and sales tax, with current status on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost of the respective lot must accompany each bid in the form of a bank guarantee, banker's cheque, pay order, or bank draft issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan. The original bid security must be submitted to DGIP headquarters in Islamabad before the bid submission deadline, and shall remain valid for at least thirty days beyond the bid validity period.
Complete bidding documents including instructions to bidders, terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, scope of work, and technical specifications are available on the PPRA website (www.ppra.org.pk) and the DGIP website (www.dgip.gov.pk). Bids must be submitted to the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, Mauve Area, Sector G-8/1, Islamabad, on or before 03:00 PM on 30 July 2026, and shall be opened the same day at 03:30 PM in the conference room in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Technical assistance is available from the undersigned office during working hours, and grievance redressal follows Rule 48 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004 through the constituted Grievance Redressal Committee.
