Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Deputy Director Poultry Production, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, invites sealed tenders from eligible government contractors and firms for the procurement of two items: poultry feed with a bid value of 10.000 million Pakistani rupees and dairy feed/fodder. This tender is issued under the procurement authority of the Gilgit-Baltistan government and covers supply requirements for poultry and dairy farming operations in the region. The tender notice specifies that rates must be quoted on an F.O.R basis from registered manufacturing factories located at Dairy Farm Konodas or Poultry Farm Basin Gilgit, ensuring local sourcing and quality standards.
Eligible bidders must be registered government contractors or firms with relevant experience and proven performance in feed and fodder supply. Bidders are required to submit an affidavit confirming they have not been blacklisted and must provide a call deposit of 3% of the bid value issued by a scheduled bank as bid security. Quotations must be submitted in computerized format with original factory gate passes for supplied items. Single-stage two-envelope bidding is required, and selection will be based on bidder experience and performance in the relevant field. A 10% performance guarantee will be withheld during the agreement deed execution between successful bidders and the Deputy Director.
The deadline for receipt of tenders is 16 July 2025 at 10:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for the same date at 11:00 AM. Delivery of all supplies must be completed within 03 weeks from the date of supply order issuance; failure to deliver within the stipulated timeframe will result in forfeiture of earnest money and blacklisting of the supplier. Tender rates are valid until 30 June 2027. Bidders should obtain complete bid documents and submit sealed tenders in the presence of authorized representatives at the office of the Deputy Director Poultry Production, Gilgit-Baltistan.
