Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Communication & Works Department invites electronic bids through the E-PADS (Single Stage Single Envelope) system for construction and rehabilitation of roads and bridges. This procurement notice covers multiple civil works projects under the Roads Infrastructure Sector (RIS) Programme across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The tender is advertised for eligible contractors meeting the department's specifications to submit detailed bids for the various road and bridge development initiatives outlined in the bid schedule.
Contractors must be duly registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and possess valid trade licenses. The bid security requirement is 5% of the Engineer Estimate, with additional security of Engineer Estimated cost as per specifications. Contractors quoting rates below 10% or above 25% of the Engineer Estimate will be summarily rejected. The bid security should be submitted in original form of Treasury Challan or Bank Draft. In case of more than 25% below rate, bids will not be entertained by initial rate analysis and are subject to additional scrutiny from the lead bid evaluation team.
Bid documents and instructions for bidders can be obtained from the office of the undersigned or any working day or downloaded from the CAW web link as specified in the notice. Bids must be submitted online through the E-PADS system within the prescribed deadline. The bid opening will be conducted as per schedule, and all subsequent correspondence with bidders will be done electronically.
