Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Sindh-South Region invites electronic bids from qualified contractors for one hundred fourteen contracts comprising routine maintenance works on multiple national highways and one emergency maintenance work on the road near Saima Downtown Hyderabad bypass at km 159+000 to 162+000 on N-5 (NBC). The tender covers maintenance activities across major national routes including N-5 (KTHH section), N-110 (Ghotki-Kashmore), N-120, N-55, N-25, M-10 (Karachi-N-B), and LEW (Larkana-Ewing) in Sindh province. Engineer estimates for individual contracts range from approximately Rs. 2.77 million to Rs. 12 million, with a combined scope encompassing multiple road sections totaling several hundred kilometres. The completion period for all contracts is twelve months with a defect liability period of three months.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue, and possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) certificate in Category C-5 and above with specialization in CE-01 (Civil Engineering) and CE-10 (Roads, Highways and Transportation). All prospective bidders must meet the prequalification requirements as specified in the tender documents. Bid security and other financial credentials will be assessed according to NHA standard procedures outlined in the detailed tender conditions.
Interested contractors may obtain complete bid documents from the National Highway Authority (Sindh-South Region) office by submitting a formal request with necessary credentials. Electronic bids must be submitted through the designated e-bidding portal on or before 23 July 2026. The bid opening ceremony will be held on the same date as per NHA schedule.
