Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate of Education Planning Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed tenders from well-reputed registered Government contractors and suppliers for supply of three categories of items during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement includes supply of stationery items under Category A, repair of transport under Category B, and other miscellaneous items under Category C. This tender is issued under reference No. DE(P)1(3)/2025-Cash and is applicable to Gilgit-Baltistan region. The bidding process follows the single stage two envelopes system as per GB PPRA rules 2022, with separate opening times scheduled for each category on 20 July 2026.
Eligibility is restricted to registered firms and contractors possessing a minimum of three years of relevant experience in their respective categories. Bidders must have their own workshop, shop, or outlet of relevant items within Gilgit city to be eligible for participation. Blacklisted firms and contractors are not permitted to apply. A call deposit of Rs. 30,000 in the form of a CDR in the name of Director Education Planning Gilgit-Baltistan must accompany each tender submission from any scheduled bank including KCBL. Bidding documents cost Rs. 2,000 per category and are non-refundable. Unrealistic high or low quoted rates will not be entertained.
Bidding documents are available from the office of the Director until 20 July 2026 during office hours. Tenders will be opened on 20 July 2026 at staggered times: Category A at 10:00 AM, Category B at 11:00 AM, and Category C at 12:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
