Description / Scope of Work
The Medical Superintendent of THQ Hospital Jampur invites e-bids for a framework contract for the purchase of X-ray films and chemicals for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is valued at PKR 4,900,000 and covers essential radiological supplies required for the hospital's diagnostic imaging department located in Jampur, Punjab. The contract encompasses six major categories of supplies including standard X-ray films in sizes 12x15 and 10x12, CR system X-ray films in sizes 10x12 and 8x10, dental X-ray films, fixer powder, and developer powder from approved manufacturers such as Agfa or Fuji or equivalent brands. The estimated quantities include 3000 films for 12x15 size, 2000 films for 10x12 size, 5000 sheets for CR 10x12 system, 25000 sheets for CR 8x10 system, 25 packs of dental films, along with 36 units of fixer powder and 48 units of developer powder.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound firms or agencies with valid NTN and STRN registration certificates. All bidders are required to submit a bid security equivalent to 1% of the estimated contract value in the form of CDR, pay order, demand draft, or banker's cheque from a scheduled bank of Pakistan. Bidding will be conducted through the open competitive bidding method using a single stage-two envelope procedure as specified in the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended to date). Taxes will be deducted as per applicable government rules, and NTN registration is mandatory for all participants.
Bidding documents are available for free download from https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk, https://eprocure.gov.pk, and https://thqjampur.punjab.gov.pk until the closing date. Bids must be submitted via e-Pad on or before 15th July 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid security delivered to the Medical Superintendent's office by the same date and time. Bid opening will occur on 15th July 2026 at 10:30 AM at the MS Office of THQ Hospital Jampur in the presence of bidders' representatives.
