Description / Scope of Work
The Lahore Development Authority invites sealed bids for the repair, maintenance and remodeling of the road connecting Multan Road to Tauheed Park and Gulfishan Colony in Lahore, Punjab. This comprehensive road rehabilitation project encompasses dismantling of existing Portland cement concrete pavement and dried brick masonry, excavation and removal of unsuitable material, compaction of existing surfaces, and construction of a new pavement layer with Portland cement concrete at 1:2:4 ratio. The subbase course shall consist of crushed stone aggregate of approved quality, placed and compacted to achieve 100 percent maximum modified AASHO dry density. The project also includes provision of a traffic sign board. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 2,107,196 before 16 percent PST, with a total contract value of Rs. 2,444,347 including taxes. The earnest money requirement is Rs. 122,217, and the time limit for completion is one month from the date of contract award.
Bidders must meet all eligibility requirements as specified in the contract documents and possess valid registration with relevant professional bodies. Bid security in the form of earnest money as stated above must accompany the submission. Contractors should ensure compliance with all technical specifications and quality standards outlined in the detailed scope of work, including proper material sourcing and site management throughout the execution period.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer at LDA Lahore upon payment of the prescribed fee. Sealed bids must be submitted before the closing date as specified in the tender notice. Bids will be publicly opened at the office of the Chief Engineer, LDA Lahore on the scheduled date.
