Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highway Department (Center Zone) invites sealed bids for two road infrastructure projects in Tehsil Arifwala, District Pakpattan. The first project involves special repair of a metalled road from Pakpattan-Kamir Road (Adda 10/EB) to Chak No.8/EB, spanning 3.50 kilometers, with an estimated cost of 15,000 thousand rupees and a completion period of 5 months. The second project comprises rehabilitation of a metalled road from Pul Jurian 84/EB Sukh Bias Road to Chak No.88/EB, measuring 1.00 kilometer, with an estimated cost of 12,970 thousand rupees and a 5-month completion timeline. Both projects are located in Arifwala, Pakpattan district in Punjab province. These works will improve connectivity and road conditions in the area.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories and codes, with valid renewed Professional Engineers License for the financial year 2025-26. Contractors must register on the Punjab PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) to participate in the tendering process. As per PPRA Rules 2014 Clause-27, bid security must be submitted as Earnest Money Deposit (CDR) only, at 5 percent of the estimated cost in favor of the Executive Engineer Highways Division Pakpattan. Performance security of 10 percent of the contract amount must be submitted within 15 days of receiving the award letter, exclusively in CDR, bank draft, cashier cheque, or bank guarantee form valid for 3 months beyond completion. Submission of performance guarantee is mandatory for all successful bidders regardless of contract amount.

Tender opening will occur on 15 July 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Commissioner's Office in Sahibwal where responsive bids will be downloaded and quoted rates of successful bidders announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
