Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad invites sealed proposals from well-reputed automobile workshops and firms for pre-qualification to undertake repair and maintenance works of the Pink Bus Fleet operated by this Ministry. The pre-qualification process is mandatory for all automotive workshops and firms seeking to participate in the Requests for Quotation (RFQ) process and subsequent Invitation to Technical and Financial Bids. Eligible workshops must be based in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments, and possess their own workshop stock, qualified manpower, and documented expertise in bus repair and maintenance services.
Interested automobile workshops and firms must meet stringent eligibility requirements including registration with relevant tax authorities, operational workshop facilities, technical qualifications, and proven expertise in heavy vehicle maintenance. All pre-qualified firms will be entitled to participate in the RFQ process and receive invitations for Technical and Financial Bids upon signing the formal agreement or contract with the Ministry. Bid security and other standard procurement requirements will apply as per PPRA rules 2004 as amended from time to time.
Proposals must be downloaded from the official Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training website at https://www.mofeept.gov.pk and the PPRA portal at https://www.ppra.org.pk. All sealed proposals must be submitted on or before 17th July 2026 by 02:00 pm, with opening scheduled for the same day at 02:30 pm. Electronic proposals submitted through PPRA e-Procurement Portal (e-PADS) are mandatory.
