Description / Scope of Work
The Balochistan Public Procurement Authority invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for the construction of a road from Baiker to Mari Top covering a distance of 56 kilometres in District Dera Bugti, Balochistan. The estimated contract value is PKR 2,784,903,000 for execution during the year 2026 based on composite schedule rates 2023 on a percentage basis. This is a significant infrastructure development project under the administrative supervision of the Project Director, Construction of Road from Baiker to Mari Top (56 KM) District Dera Bugti, and falls under tender fee of PKR 1,000 with bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be registered with the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA GOB. Bidding firms must not be blacklisted by any government agency and must maintain active tax payer status. Contractors must demonstrate prior experience with completed assignments of similar nature with a minimum turnover of PKR 1,900,000,000 in the preceding three years and maintain financial capacity documented with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) at category C-B or above (up to PKR 4,000 million). The relevant specialised codes are CE10(i) for General Civil Engineering Works and CE1(i) for Road and Pavement Drainage and Retaining Structures. Bid security must be submitted as a bank guarantee or deposit call.
Bidding documents are available electronically from www.bppra.gob.pk and the complete bidding document can be viewed online at the same portal. Electronic bids must be submitted through the supplier dashboard latest by 16 July 2026 at 01:00 PM. Tender opening will occur on the same day at 02:00 PM at the EPPS System Address, B1-A Chaman Housing Scheme, Quetta. All tenders must be submitted in electronic format only; no physical bids are accepted.
