Description / Scope of Work
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the repair and rewinding of a 50 horsepower electric motor at the filtration plant facility in Islamabad, Federal Territory. This works procurement is referenced as P53990 and has been reserved under the FY 2026-27 budget allocation. The project involves complete motor rewinding and repair services to restore the equipment to operational condition at the NIH filtration plant located in Islamabad Capital Territory. The procurement follows a single-stage, one-envelope bidding process using the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in compliance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Bidders must be eligible contractors registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform with relevant experience in electric motor repair and rewinding. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a pay order, call deposit, demand draft, or a bid securing declaration as specified in the bidding documents.
