Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites sealed competitive bids for the supply of indigenous materials and supplies under Tender Enquiry No. 0042/LP/HVN/56. The procurement is open to eligible suppliers and contractors across Pakistan. Quotations must be submitted electronically via www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to the tender opening scheduled for 10:30 hours on 21 July 2026 at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POF Wah Cantt, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The tender follows the Single Stage two envelope method for open competitive bidding as per PPRA Rule 36(b), with technical and commercial evaluation conducted strictly according to PPRA rules and contract award to the most advantageous bidder.
Eligible bidders including registered, unregistered, indexed and unindexed firms, as well as government organisations and state-owned enterprises, must submit a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 through crossed postal order or pay order in favour of the Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt. Bid Security is mandatory and varies based on firm registration status: 2% of quoted value (max Rs. 0.5 million) for registered indexed firms, 3% (max Rs. 0.75 million) for registered unindexed firms, and 5% (max Rs. 1.0 million) for unregistered firms. The bid security must be in the form of a deposit at call receipt, pay order, or banker cheque drawn in favour of M.D-POF Havelian Cantt and provided in original at tender opening.
Quotations must remain valid for a minimum of 90 days from commercial tender opening and should be based on F.O.R. station of dispatch basis inclusive of packing and forwarding charges or free delivery at POF's stores at Havelian. Prices should be quoted in columns 5 and 7 of the tender schedule with delivery dates clearly specified. Taxes and duties must be shown separately with relevant registration and authority references. All offers must include a certificate from the Excise and Taxation Department confirming clearance of professional tax. Successful bidders must furnish a performance bond not exceeding 10% of contract value within the specified timeframe.
