Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority invites proposals for consultancy services to hire a structural expert for design and review of bridge structures across Pakistan. This tender, referenced as 6(683), is issued by the National Highway Authority, an executing agency of the Government of Pakistan responsible for highway infrastructure development. The assignment encompasses structural design review, analysis, and expert consultation services for various bridge projects under the NHA's purview. The scope of work includes technical evaluation, design review, and structural assessment of bridge structures to ensure compliance with international standards and Pakistan's highway construction specifications. The project is federally funded and open to qualified structural engineering consultants and firms with demonstrated expertise in bridge design and structural analysis.
Candidates must meet minimum suitability requirements as specified in the Data Sheet and instructions to applicants. Eligible consultants should possess relevant professional qualifications, experience in bridge structural design, and appropriate engineering licenses. Proposals failing to meet minimum qualifications will be rejected without evaluation. Applicants must clarify any potential conflicts of interest and confirm that neither they nor their affiliated firms have ongoing participation in related NHA assignments. Bidders should note that proposal preparation costs, pre-proposal conference attendance, and interview expenses are not reimbursable by the Client. The Client reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted.
