Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division Swat-I, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical works in existing water supply schemes for the financial year 2026-27. Two sub-divisions are covered under this tender: Public Health Engineering Sub Division Saidu Sharif-I with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.00 million and earnest money of Rs. 149,000, and Public Health Engineering Sub Division Saidu Sharif-II with an estimated cost of Rs. 11.00 million and earnest money of Rs. 260,000. The tender is issued for the Swat region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and encompasses comprehensive repair and maintenance services for water supply infrastructure.
Eligible contractors must possess specialization codes CE-09, EE-04, EE-05, ME-05, ME-07, or EE-11 in accordance with KPPRA procurement rules 2014. All contractors must be registered with KP Revenue Authority with active status and hold a valid and active Electric Inspector Certificate. Bidders are required to submit certificates confirming the availability of standby pumping machinery and transformers of different KVA capacities, along with an undertaking guaranteeing repair of electric motors, transformers, or pumping machinery within a maximum period of two days. Bid security, additional security, and detailed rate analysis (if quoted rate is more than 20% below the Engineer's Estimate) must be submitted as per KPPRA Notification S.R.O (14)/Vol: 1-24/2021-22/6058-71 dated 10-05-2022.
Bids must be submitted electronically through http://eprocure.gov.pk on a single stage single envelope basis. The last date and time for bid submission is 16 July 2026 at 11:00 A.M through courier, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 A.M in the presence of government contractors or their authorized representatives. All bids and required documentation must be submitted in sealed envelopes before the closing date to the office of the Executive Engineer.
