Description / Scope of Work
The Medical Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospital Chitral Main Building and Women & Children Hospital Jang Bazar invites electronic bids through E-PADS from reputed and licensed chemists and druggists for the supply and purchase of medicines to serve patients under the Sehat Sahulat Program for the financial year 2026-27. The tender covers pharmaceutical supplies for multiple departments including Medical Ward, Surgical Ward, Dialysis Unit, ENT & EYE Ward at District Headquarters Hospital Main Building in Lower Chitral, and Gynae Ward and Peads Ward at Women & Children Hospital Jang Bazar in Lower Chitral. The procurement is conducted in accordance with KPPRA Rules and open to nearby and local dealers fulfilling all regulatory requirements.
Eligibility criteria require that all participating chemists and druggists must possess valid licenses duly verified by the District Health Officer Chitral and the Drug Inspector, without which tenders shall not be accepted. Each bidder must submit a separate bid for each category including Medical, Surgical, Dialysis, ENT, EYE, and Laboratory items. A call deposit of Rs. 40,000 in favour of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Chitral, must be submitted by the due date; cheques and old deposits are not acceptable. Bids submitted through E-PADS must contain no cuttings, overwriting, or alterations, and any visible editing will result in automatic rejection. Quotations must be submitted on the chemist's or druggist's official letterhead using computerized format; photocopies and handwritten quotations are not permitted.
E-bidding documents are available only for registered bidders on the E-PADS platform at www.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically through E-PADS by 03-08-2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of tender representatives and committee members, with the bidder offering the maximum discount rate declared successful. Quoted rates shall remain valid until 30th June 2027, and the tender procedure follows Single Stage Envelope System. Separate bids are mandatory for each category, alternative rates are not acceptable, and licenses must be in the bidder's own name. At bill submission time, the doctor's prescription slip must accompany the bill. Only financially sound chemists and druggists are eligible to participate.
