Description / Scope of Work
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prisons Department invites sealed competitive bids for the supply of stationery items and consumables required for prison operations across the province. This procurement is valued at Rs 3,500,000 and shall be conducted under the auspices of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) in adherence to the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The tender shall be processed through the Electronic Procurement and Auction System (EPADS) platform available at https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk. Bid documents shall be submitted electronically by 11:00 AM on July 28, 2026, with results opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same date. The procurement covers routine consumable supplies necessary for the efficient administration and management of prisons within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority and possess valid business registration and tax compliance certificates as required under applicable laws. Bidders must maintain a performance record free of complaints and defaults, and shall furnish detailed information regarding their past performance and organizational capacity. The bid security shall be calculated at five percent of the estimated value as per KPPRA guidelines. Bidders are required to submit their credentials and supporting documentation through the EPADS platform, and any applications deemed non-responsive will be rejected summarily.
Bid documents are available for download from the KPPRA website at www.kppra.gov.pk and the prison authority portal at https://prisons.kp.gov.pk. Interested vendors must register on the EPADS system and submit their sealed bids electronically before the deadline. The bid opening shall be conducted publicly via EPADS on the scheduled date and time.
