Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, Federal Territory, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the bulk supply of surgical disposable items and suture material to support PIMS and the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) for the financial years 2026-27 and 2027-28. This is a national procurement of goods conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0, utilizing the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
All bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 to participate in the bidding process. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a pay order, call deposit, or a bid securing declaration as specified in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders should review the detailed terms and conditions, specifications, eligibility criteria, evaluation methodology, and price schedules contained within the comprehensive bidding document available on the e-procurement portal.
E-bids prepared in accordance with the instructions in the bidding documents must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Electronic bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM.
