Description / Scope of Work
The Town Municipal Corporation Tando Jam, located in District Hyderabad, Sindh, invites sealed tender bids on an offer rate basis for the hiring of sanitary workers including accessories for the urban councils (UCs) from 55 to 70 within the limits of the Town Municipal Corporation. This procurement is issued under SPPRA Rules 2010 as amended to date, with an estimated cost on offer rate basis, a call deposit rate of 5 percent, and a bid documents fee of Rs 5000. The contract duration is 12 months from the date of award. Interested firms and bidders must submit their tenders by 2 July 2026 in sealed envelopes at the Office of Town Municipal Corporation Tando Jam.
Eligibility requirements mandate that all bidding firms possess valid PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) Certificate, SRB (Sindh Revenue Board) Certificate, NTN (National Tax Number) Certificate, and a valid Professional Tax Certificate. Bidders must provide bank statements covering the last three years and demonstrate a minimum of three years relevant experience in sanitary services or allied work. A CDR (Call Deposit Rate) of 5 percent of the schedule rate or approval rate must be enclosed in the form of a bank pay order from any scheduled bank in favour of Town Municipal Corporation Tando Jam, otherwise the bid will be rejected. All bids must include complete and correct postal addresses and quote rates both in words and figures with proper documentary evidence of eligibility and minimum qualification criteria.
Bidding documents will be issued from 1 July 2026 onwards during office hours on submission of a written request on letter head and payment of the non-refundable bidding fee. Bids must be dropped at 11:00 AM on 2 July 2026 (or 21 July 2026 for the second attempt) at the Office of Town Municipal Corporation Tando Jam, with opening of bids scheduled for 12:00 PM the same day. The procurement committee will open all bids in the presence of interested contractors and firms. Canvassing in connection with bidding is strictly prohibited and bids submitted by contractors involved in canvassing will be rejected. The Authority may reject any or all bids at its discretion in accordance with SPPRA Rules 2010.
