Sub Jail Orakzai invites bids for the supply of cooked food and miscellaneous articles required for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement encompasses a comprehensive range of food items including cooked lunch and dinner according to prescribed scales, cooked tea with paratha, cooked tea for Ramazan Sharif, cooked pulao, cooked rice joshi, cooked halwa, sawayan cooked in milk with sugar, sharbat for Ramazan, and cooked special diet for inmates. The tender also includes non-food miscellaneous items such as eggs of hen per dozen, fresh milk first quality, energy saver bulbs, locks for jail and barrack gates, musterd oil, phenyl, rebate on medicine, soda ash, lime stone, and ice. The procurement is conducted by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prison administration to ensure adequate nutrition and basic supplies for detainees throughout the year.
Prospective bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) and possess relevant experience in supplying cooked food and allied materials to government institutions. Bidders are required to submit a performance guarantee at five percent of the bid value as per standard KPPRA guidelines. All bids must comply with the prescribed scales and quality standards for food items, and vendors should ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Licenses and certifications from relevant health authorities are mandatory for food suppliers.
