Description / Scope of Work
The Food Department of Shaheed Benazirabad Region invites sealed bids from qualified fumigation service providers for fumigation of government wheat stocks stored across multiple locations in Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushahro Feroze, and Sanghar districts of Sindh Province. The total quantity to be fumigated is approximately 16,587.522 metric tonnes, with an estimated cost of Rs. 4,401,371.601 and a bid security requirement of Rs. 220,000. The contract spans the tender year 2026-2027 and follows NIT No. AC/Tender (Fumigation)/2026-560 dated 01-07-2026. Work will be executed as per the time, manner and schedule specified in the bidding documents and includes fumigation of wheat stocks stored both inside and in open storage facilities.
Bidders must be registered with the National Tax Number (NTN) for fumigation services, hold a valid Plant Protection Department Registration Certificate from the Government of Pakistan, and provide evidence of Sindh Revenue Board (SST) registration. Applicants should demonstrate at least three years of verifiable fumigation experience preferably with the Food Department Government of Sindh or equivalent experience with reputable organizations handling food commodities. Bank statements showing minimum annual turnover of Rs. 10 Million for the last three years are mandatory. Bidders must submit an affidavit confirming non-blacklist status with provincial or federal government departments and their sole responsibility for work completion without subcontracting.
Bid documents are available from the office of the Deputy Director Food, Shaheed Benazirabad Region. Sealed bids must be submitted by 20-07-2026 as per the specified schedule. Financial evaluation will be based on the most advantageous least cost offer received. Bidders must provide comprehensive documentation of fumigation equipment, safety materials, skilled manpower, and procedural compliance tools on company letterhead.
