Description / Scope of Work
The Infrastructure Development Authority of The Punjab (DAP) invites prequalification proposals from eligible contractors for the establishment of Hamaz Sharif Medical District, Lahore, specifically for the construction of an Institute of Surgical, Orthopedic and Medical Rehabilitation in Lahore, Punjab. This is a significant infrastructure development project with an estimated cost of approximately 15.130 million Pakistani Rupees covering an area of approximately 322,400 square feet. The scope of work encompasses civil construction of buildings and infrastructure development, along with execution of all necessary mechanical, labor, framework, tools and machinery work as detailed in the prequalification requirements. The project falls under NIT Category C-4 and is being advertised through the PPRA Procurement Regulatory Authority system to invite qualified contractors for this development initiative in the provincial capital.
Eligible applicants must be prequalified contractors registered with the PPRA system or other eligible agencies for subject procurement. Detailed requirements, terms and conditions for participation are contained in the PQ Notice available for registered applicants on the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk or through the Procurement Regulatory Authority portal. Prospective contractors must ensure they meet all mandatory eligibility criteria and hold necessary licenses and certifications for construction work at this scale. A bid security in the prescribed format will be required as part of the proposal submission, and all technical and financial requirements must be clearly documented according to the prequalification document specifications.
Proposals prepared in accordance with instructions in the prequalification document must be submitted on EPADS or before the deadline of 18th July 2026, with no later submission accepted. Proposals will be opened on the same date at EPADS office or at the location specified by DAP. Any proposal received through other means after the EPADS final submission deadline will not be considered. In case the submission date falls on a public holiday, the next working day will be considered as the deadline.
