Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), located at Quaid-i-Azam University Campus in Islamabad, invites sealed bids for a Closed Framework Agreement to hire vehicle rental services on a nationwide basis across all Pakistan for a period of one year. This is a Single-Stage, One-Envelope procurement process open to reputed firms and contractors registered with the income tax and sales tax departments. The scope encompasses providing rental vehicle services to support PIDE's operational requirements throughout the country.
Eligible bidders must be registered firms or contractors with valid income tax and sales tax registrations. A non-refundable bid security of Rs. 20,000 is required to be submitted in hard form as a call deposit receipt in favor of PIDE, Islamabad. Bidders must also submit an undertaking on e-stamp paper confirming that the firm has not been blacklisted by any organization or establishment. Previous reputation, work completion certificates, and evidence of prior experience are required. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted together in sealed envelopes.
Interested firms must submit their complete technical and financial proposals on or before July 21, 2026 by 11:00 hours to the office of the Chairman Purchase Committee at PIDE. Bids will be publicly opened on the same day at 12:00 noon in the presence of vendors.
