Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Government of Pakistan, intends to conduct an open auction of unserviceable and surplus furniture and other items on an 'as is where is' basis. The auction is scheduled for Tuesday, 21 July 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with a backup date of Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at 11:00 a.m. should the primary date be unavailable. The items are located at the 7th and 8th Floors of the New Secretariat, Kohsar Block, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad, in the Federal territory. Prospective bidders may inspect the furniture and items during working hours from 0900 to 1600 hours on working days prior to the auction.
All bidders are required to provide copies of their computerised national identity cards (CNICs) and submit earnest money of Rs. 200,000 (refundable) in the form of a bank draft or pay order made payable to the Section Officer (General), Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Islamabad. The auction will be conducted through an open bidding process in accordance with government rules and policies. The Ministry reserves the right to accept, reject, or reserve any one or all bids at its sole discretion.
Successful bidders must deposit the full bid amount including 10 percent income tax within five days of the auction date, failing which the earnest money will be forfeited. The auctioned items must be lifted from the Ministry premises within five days of handover, which will occur after completion of all codal formalities.
