Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), operating under the Ministry of Housing and Works of the Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids through the electronic PADS 2.0 platform for provisioning and installation of metallic roads and culvert works across multiple locations in Sindh province. This invitation encompasses twenty-five separate work packages involving construction and laying of installed roads and culvert structures at various sites, with an aggregate estimated value of approximately PKR 77.2 million. The works are required to be executed in Sindh province under the supervision and inspection of PIDCL engineers, with detailed scope specifications and technical requirements outlined in the tender documents.
Bidders must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate categories as specified for construction works, with reduced codes as fixed by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Bids must include original and attested copies of all requisite documents including organization registration certificates, tax clearance certificates, and proof of prior experience in similar works. A compulsory bid security is mandated at the rates specified in individual tender documents, and no bid shall be entertained if the security documents are not enclosed as prescribed.
Bid documents are obtainable through the PADS 2.0 portal at https://epadspk.gov.pk by paying a non-refundable fee as specified for each package. Bids must be submitted electronically via the portal before the closing date of July 30, 2026. An open bid opening ceremony will be conducted on the same date at the office of the General Manager (Engineering) of PIDCL at Bahria Complex, 9th Floor, East Block, Karachi.
