The Ministry of Housing and Works of Pakistan invites bids through the e-PADS portal for multiple packages of road construction, rehabilitation, and laying of concrete tuff paver flooring in various localities of Karachi, Sindh province. The procurement is conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope method as defined in PPRA Rules 36(a) 2004, with contracts valued between approximately 5.8 million and 7.9 million Pakistani rupees. The projects encompass providing and laying of metalled roads and concrete tuff paver flooring in streets across Liaquatabad Town, Nazimabad Town, and surrounding areas in District Central Karachi. Multiple contract packages are being offered, including construction in residential colonies, commercial areas, and routes connecting key landmarks such as schools, masjids, hospitals, and market areas.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria set by the Federal Board of Revenue and possess valid Sales Tax registration and other applicable tax clearances. A security deposit, referred to as Security Contingency, is required for each contract package, with bid documents available for purchase through specified payment channels. Prospective bidders are required to submit their bids electronically via the e-PADS platform with proper technical compliance, including digital signatures where mandated.
