Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL) under the Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed competitive bids through the online E-PADS system for the provision and laying of metalled roads at multiple locations across Sindh province. This comprehensive infrastructure development project encompasses road construction, street lighting installation, and associated civil works across various towns and districts including Karachi, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, and surrounding areas. The total estimated project scope involves numerous road stretches and infrastructure packages across central Karachi and township areas. Bids are invited from experienced contractors and civil engineering firms capable of executing major infrastructure projects in Sindh province with demonstrated expertise in road construction and allied works.
Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant Pakistani authorities, possess valid tax registration, and have demonstrated experience in road construction and infrastructure development projects of similar scope and value. Bid security must be provided in the form of Pay Order or CDR/Bank Guarantees issued by scheduled banks, mentioning the contractor's firm name and in favor of Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited. The estimated bid security amounts are specified for each contract package ranging from approximately 374,000 to 897,000 Pakistani Rupees depending on the scope of work. All bidders must submit performance security and signed contract agreements with their bids.
Prospective bidders can obtain complete bidding documents online through the E-PADS portal at https://egroups.goc.pk/ by paying the non-refundable fee of Rs 5,000 per package. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS 2.0 system with all required documentation including scanned copies of tender fees and bid security. The bid opening will take place on the scheduled date as specified in the tender advertisement.
