Cadet College Okara invites sealed tenders for outsourcing of a tailor shop on the college campus in Punjab. The successful contractor will operate a tailor shop of approximate size 22x26 feet and will be responsible for manufacturing and provisioning of all uniform items, college dress codes, stationery items, text books, college track suits, sweaters, quilts, bed covers, under garments and other items as specified in the tender documents. The contract period is for one year from 1 August 2026 to 30 May 2027, extendable as per PPRA Rules on satisfactory performance with 10 percent increase in monthly rent. The contract will be awarded to the bidder offering the highest rate of monthly rent for the shop.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to submit a CDR, Demand Draft or Pay Order of Rs. 50,000 as bid security in favour of the Principal, attested copies of National Identity Card and valid Income Tax Number, and an affidavit on Rs. 100 stamp paper certifying that the firm is not blacklisted and has prior experience of completion of similar projects. All tender documents must be signed and stamped by the authorized signatory. Incomplete tenders, those without required documents, lacking signatures, from blacklisted firms, or submitted after the fixed deadline will be rejected.
Tenders must be submitted by 10:30 AM on 23 July 2026, and the opening will take place at 11:00 AM on the same date in the presence of the college committee and bidders or their authorized representatives. The successful bidder must provide fabric samples and stitching samples within 10 days, maintain sufficient stock, ensure shop opening from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Saturday and 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Sundays and holidays, pay electricity bills through a sub-meter, provide furniture and fixtures, ensure staff security clearance from police, and abide by all college security instructions and standard operating procedures.
