The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, commonly known as Lok Virsa, invites electronic bids for outsourcing of janitorial and related services including museum attendant and electrician provisions at its offices located at Garden Avenue, Shakarparian, Islamabad. This tender, referenced as 02/2026, seeks a qualified firm to deliver comprehensive housekeeping and facility maintenance services across multiple buildings including Lok Virsa's main offices, Pakistan Monument Museum, and Heritage Museum. The scope of work encompasses daily continuous cleaning, mopping, sweeping of all floors, corridors, washrooms both public and staff facilities, lobbies, staircases, windows, and external areas, with specialized requirements for hourly toilet sanitization, carpet cleaning, furniture maintenance, garbage collection and disposal, air freshening, and disinfection services. Museum attendants and electricians must remain readily available during duty hours to support operational needs.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Firms must demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience in similar service provision and maintain their own office setup in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Bid security of two percent of the total bid value is required, with an additional performance bank security of ten percent of the contract value to be furnished as a Call Deposit Receipt, Pay Order, or Bank Guarantee. Contractors must submit CNIC copies of all hired employees and provide particulars to the local police station for security clearance.
